The Inga Foundation’s work is spearheaded by our Land for Life Project in Honduras. This has served as the test-bed for testing our principle work with now over 600 families, but our 13 acre finca in San Marcos has also now become the nerve center from which we elaborate, improve and disseminate new findings and research.
Our Collaborator Projects are key beneficiaries of and flag bearers for how the Land for Life Project is spreading around Latin America. This has brought agronomists, community leaders and indigenous groups to the finca for intensive training, to take it back to their regions and countries and form new nuclei to spread our pioneering work.
Our Mentee Projects are those where our expertise and that of other associated centres come together, and test the suitability of the inga system fundamentals with analogue legume species in other parts of the humid tropics.
